How to grow Sunflowers:

Planting

1. Direct seed outdoors after the last frost.
2. Sow 1" deep in light, well-drained soil, spaced 12" apart.
3. Keep moist until the seeds germinate in 10 to 14 days.

Growing

1. Water regularly and do not over-fertilize.
2. Plant in full sun.
3. Tall varieties may have to be staked.
